The women`s teams have 1 group of 4 and 1 group of 5 where the first ranked team in each group will qualify directly for the semifinal. The second and third ranked teams in each group will have to play a qualification game to get through to the semifinal, 2nd group A vs 3rd group B, 2nd group B vs 3rd group A. LSDs in the last game for each team in the group of five, does only decide hammer and are not included in the LSD score. Ranking is based on a) Wins b) Internal results c) LSD

Practice & LSD There will be a pregamepractise 15 minutes before the times in the shedule. Each team have 5 min practice, and the first team in the schedule plays first with red stones. After your practise is over, there will be two LSD. First LSD is clockwise and then the second LSD counterclockwise. These LSD is to decide hammer and later used if internal results isn’t enough to decide playoff-teams. The worst LSD is later removed from results.
Game All matches are played over 8 ends. With a draw in the last end, there will be a shootout for the extra point. The team with hammer in the eight end will draw first. Teams are awarded 3 points for a win, 2 points for win in shootout and 1 point for the losing the shootout. Teams make their own in game measurements. If the teams do not come to an agreement or doesn`t know how to measure, the umpire can be called in. Each team has one timeout of 1 minute per game and there are NO half time break between the fourth and fift end.
Playoff rules:
There will be a pregamepractise without LSD for both teams 10 minutes before the times in the schedule during the playoffs. The highest ranked teams decides hammer or color of the stones throughout the playoffs and will have the second pregamepractise. The games are played over 8 ends with one extra end if necessary. If no points are scored in the extra end the teams will play shootout for the win. The team with hammer in the extra end will draw first.
Teams make their own in game measurements. If the teams do not come to an agreement or doesnt know how to measure, the umpire can be called in. Each team has one timeout of 1 minute per game. In the playoffs, youre allowed to have a half time break of 3 minutes between the fourth and fift end. And the coaches are allowed to join during this break.
Otherwise both free guard zone and no tick rule applies for the whole tournament and well follow regular WCF regulations.
