A brief summary of the social program.
Thursday Night
All teams travelling to the bonspiel are invited to our dear president, Christian Lange’s home for a get-together party. The easiest is to take bus No. 30 to Bygdøhus, we will have someone to direct you to the bus. The stop is Bygdøhus Address: Bygdøy Terrasse 11. There will be drinks and light snacks ! Start 1900 until ca 2100
Friday Night
On friday from until around Midnight The will be a pub night @ the Snarøya Rink. 11 teams teams are finished playing around 1830 and 10 teams play the last draw infront of a large audience!
After the last draw Friday night, there will be a social program & pub night from 20:30 until midnight.
The bar will be open, serving beer and wine and soft drinks. We will also serve some food. We plan to have a fun pubquiz, and there wil be some fun dexterity / skill games available from our large collection of various board games.
The bar will be open all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and Norwegian sausages from the famous Annie’s butchers will also be sold throughout the day including beverages.
Please note we like you to pay by credit card or Vipps, so no need for cash. Friday Night we might get in some extra food. Details will follow.
Dress code: casual - Whatever you want!
Saturday Night!
Saturdays last round robin games will be played at Sanrøya & Bygdøy between 15:00 and 1630 ish. A bus will pick up all the particpants from from Snarøya 1645 ish and drive them to the hotel or to Bygdøy.
We have rented wardrobes with possibilies to shower on Bygdøy, so please make sure to make a plan for going straight to Bygdøy with the bus after the last draw on saturday on Snarøya. Bring a shirt or maybe a fancy suit?!
Peter M. LAnge Thropy - The game between the two teams ranked 9-21 with the best draws will be played at Bygdøy from 1730
We urge all participants who are not into the playoffs to travel to Bygdøy Curling rink and arrive between 1730-1800 for our traditional forspiel! Here we will have some drinks prior to our 19:30 torchlight procession lead by pipers and with a pitstop to have a wee dram on our way to dinner ( 15 minutes walk including the pitstop) - Please make sure to bring a warm jacket!
20:00 Broomstacking Banquet – Dinner –The famous DJ HERKULES Will play until about 01:30 am.
Dress code: semi formal
*NB! * Since we this year have got an liquor licence during the hole weekend NO BROUGHT ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED. This is very Important, unless we might loose our permitions! The bar will have reasoable prices!
